I'm Jim Clark. I live in Santa Barbara and have been playing guitar and writing music as a hobby for quite a few years now. Some of my friends and family have been wanting to hear my new stuff so I decided to join Broadjam and just pass them my URL instead of having to burn CD's. So here I am.
I'd like to say hello to all of my friends and family who might be reading this right now. I also want to thank everyone for taking the time to check out my music. I hope you enjoy it. If you like what your hear feel free to drop me a line. Check back from time to time because I plan to keep posting new songs.

Growing up in Reno, Nevada me and my friends played music just for kicks. When I was in college in San Diego I bought a 4-track recorder and started writing music for the first time. I would make tapes just for myself and my friends (it's quite amusing to listen to them now) but never thought to pursue music as a career. Instead I took a job out of college up in Santa Barbara and have been living here by the beach for almost ten years now. I've continued with music as a hobby and having written a few dozen songs over the years I decided to start recording again. Some of my friends and family have been wanting to hear my new stuff, so I decided to join Broadjam and just pass them my URL instead of having to burn CD's. So here I am.
My style is a laid back folky type of music. I also write a little country from time to time. I think one common element to all my songs whether they be country, folk, reggae or rock is the laid back beach vibe I've acquired here in Santa Barbara.
I hope you enjoy the tunes and thanks for stopping by!
