In 2008, Fractaler tours for supporting their fourth album "Y CALM" sharing scenarios with TRAVIS, REM, OASIS, among others. Songs as Hello The Rain, Warning, Toys and other were played in several Broadcast Stations. This production is the first one with no keyboards, with a bigger live band concept, fresher and minimalist melodies and rhythms.
In 2010, after the big success of their fourth album "Y CALM, Fractaler began to work in Orphans, a sci-fi trilogy, with a fresher sound, more electronics, soundtracks landscape.
November 2011 - ORPHANS I is coming out.
Between 2012 and 2013, the band has released several albums, including the unreleased "Stress", the compilation of their second and third albums "Last practical Man In Space"; Y Calm Redux: a new version deluxe of Y Calm including the new song "The First Day of My Life". Also, Orphans II, which is coming with a deluxe version of Orphans I and the instrumental versions of both productions.

The Fractaler
FRACTALER is an Indie Pop Rock band which has been dedicated to the creation of its own sound and recording studio with a personal seal since 2000. Its compositions go from elements linked to movies to the electronics, progressive and british rock, influenced by bands as The Cure, Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Radiohead, Rush, Sonic Youth, Muse, Depeche Mode...
Its three first records: "Crystal Lands", "Practical Man", "Last Man In Space" were very seduced by the conceptual albums as The Wall, Tommy, among others. In this fourth production, FRACTALER comes with a simpler and solid proposal than in the previous works: "Y Calm".
FRACTALER mixes calm and melodic voices in the middle of an environment that sometimes is agitated and meaningless. Its lyrics tell from the conflict of the modern man to subject of science fiction; Guitars loops that also do the role of sequences and keyboards, drums and basses creating solid rhythm to express a little planetary lyrics that from time to time land in an abrupt way in the ground.
For their members, the life is not appreciated with calmed moments, we shouldn't allow leaving the dreams on the road to be adapted to a life that seems dull and without spark, we cannot be spectators and living with a distant heart. We need to feel the strength and the passion in ourselves by reaching what we visualize in the horizon.
Each people who listen FRACTALER's work becomes a "fractaler", some kind of man who does not bear to watch himself in the mirror without achieving connection with its essence as human being, which vibrates and is getting identified with the rhythms and songs of this band. He doesn't like the reality that appears in front of him and is getting repeated infinitely.
In the year 2008, its singles: Hello, The Rain - Toys - Warning - Psychiatrist - Secrets & Fears, Magic Thinking were played by several radio stations in Caracas and other cities of Venezuela. Besides, Fractaler has played together with several important Venezuelan bands and also with international artists like, Travis and REM in its visit to this country. It is worth to emphasize that Michael Stipe, REM's singer, dedicated them a song in his concert. At the same time, Y Calm was reviewed in the magazine Rolling Stones for Latin America.

In the year 2009, FRACTALER is preparing its fifth record, a story of science fiction that will be named "Orphans". Also, the band is remastering two previous projects to Y Calm: "Practical Man" and "Last Man In Space", this makes an excellent collection called "Last Practical Man In Space". At the same time, their shows haven't stop: They participated in some important festivals in Venezuela.
In April 2009 they succeeded as a support band in Oasis's concert in Caracas, where the Gallaghers chose them among other local bands. As a fact, every member of Oasis listened Fractaler's concert hidden in the stage. The details of this Show was transmitted in an important TV Station of Venezuela called Globovisión.
