Everett Metz grew up in a small, West Virginia town a few miles west of the Pennsylvania border. While working at Weirton Steel Everett joined together with several other "mill" musicians to form a group call "Back Road Blues", a hard driving rock and roll band. It was during that period of time that Everett met and married a lady named Bernie and a duet was formed called "Woven Wire". Throughout the remaining years of his steel mill career, Everett and his wife played gigs throughout the Ohio Valley.

Sometimes they were accompanied by the banjo of Randy McKinney and the guitar of Chuck King. Over the course of his career Everett has written and recorded a total of 24 songs. Each song is in itself a story taking the listener on a journey. Listen and enjoy. A great country rock storyteller.
