My song "You Are A Hero" reflects my emotions on the death of my father, a military man who was kidnapped and murdered by communist insurgents in the Philippines. I was thirteen at the time, the third of his eight children.

It is this experience that enabled me to have a deep compassion and kinship with the U.S. military and their families.

I have been a U.S. citizen for almost 15 years. My goal is to have my song published and use the proceeds to help the families of military men killed or disabled in the line of duty.
