Only 16 years old, Katie Wallace has been writing and performing music since the age of eight accompanied with her father Bobby on the guitar. The duo have been finalists in the Showtime at the Apollo, the Texas 10 Under 20 and The Dr. Pepper Texas Country Star competitions.

In 2005, the duo became Don't Kick Katie when they were joined by Katie's brother Kristopher (13) on drums, and family friend Cody West (16) on the bass guitar. Together the band has been writing and playing music all over Texas.
