Congratulations are in order for our February Monthly Contest winner, Govenor, for his excellent rap entry, ?So Sad,? featuring Jose. The New Orleans, Louisiana native takes a genuine look at Hurricane Katrina, and how the disaster, for many, instigates reflection on problems with humanity in general. The influence of religion is embedded in Govenor?s evocative lyrics, and his articulated, laid-back delivery, combined with poignant vocal hits, exposes a heart saddened by the destruction of his hometown.

Check out the winning song ?So Sad.? Congratulations Govenor!
