I started recording when I was about 12 years old. I stumbled into it using two tape recorders. I would get lost for hours. A decade ago, I stumbled into computers and and music software. I still get lost for hours. I am, by gift, a songwriter. I am, by birth, an artist.
As a songwriter, I write by feel. I never think or analyze or write for a specific genre. I draw from the collective experiences of generations of my bloodline. All those twists and turns. They uncover themselves and speak through my songwriting. That's why I write whatever comes to me. I really don't have a choice. It's my muse.
