Cool and interesting piece. Gives you Grateful Dead vibes, both musically and lyrically.
Interesting track, not sure what to make of it,I wouldnt call it Chicago blues as thats the category its in,more like unique. Vocals are the best part of this but everything else needs re doing.
Like the sun reference of "never taking a cat nap!"
Keep working on it!
This is nice,..... I'll have brandy and water
The vocals are good and fun to listen to! Pitch and timbre are right on. Musicianship creates the mood perfectly. Lyrics are too cool, I love the aura they create for me. Love the background vocal work, too. This is a really fun song to listen to. Love the ending! Very easy to keep my attention to what's going on. Good work all!
Coolio wah wah. What else can I say?
Who is interesting and unique song! Whatever those instruments were they were very strange year interesting. Vocals kind of unique being sung in kind of different way. Befitting of the music. Almost psychedelic vibe to it?
great song, I love the wha and the lyrics are good, good performances and vibe through out But
Very cool guitar and organ intro..
The song has potential
I really like the vocal parts and the arrangement
Really dig the guitar tone, great blues feel and the instrumental portions are killer. Well executed song, really enjoyed it.
Nice blend of a blues foundation with a sweet 70s funk wah-wah guitar, tasteful rhythm section and fills, good backing vocals and catchy lyrics. Fun!
very cool retro instrumental vibe, yet neo blues lyrically timed tune, (this isn't chicago blues, but that's cool) wah wah guitar was cool, vocal well done. liked the lyrics, that are all over the place thematically at first, but the repetition of the "sun" metaphors sink in and it works cat! in this genre/style it is almost "beat" like, i dug this "sunny" tune, nice job. very different, which i dig!
nice laid back blues tune. Very enjoyable..........
love the Wah guitar and the organ tone. got a down south sound about it. Reminds me a bit of '50 ways to leave you lover'. like the bridge progression and how it falls. has potential to be a good album track.
I believed I have reviewed this tune before?? It sounds much, much tighter this time around!! The recording sounds more sonically cool..........Really like the composition now!! Jimmy Hendrix beware....I am not sure at this point in time, but I believe the band is Cat Nip......tipped off with the phrase in the tune LOL!!
GREAT JOB!!!
We love your creative approach. Great job.
I really liked the singers voice and the backing vocalist - also really great to hear the male/female combination. The lyrics had a nice rye sense of humour, the specifics of the numbers 93 million was a really solid idea and showed the writer's ability to extend and maintain a theme. The singer had a bit of Bob Dylan/Tom Petty in there and the lyrics maintained the number theme well using 93million, 36 million degrees throughout. The sun doesn't take a cat nap is a cute lyric and I really liked the approach.
I love the bluesy, earthy sound for this track. The wah wah guitar part works great on this song and the rhythm section sounds live, which provides a nice organic sound to the track.
I like the very original and entertaining lyrics...the lyric idea is superb. Strong lead vocal and I like the use of backing vocals and improvs. A very catchy song. Superb playing all round. The song has a great vibe which reflects the lyrics perfectly.
This track is greasy! or would be with a better drummer. I'm a big fan of the vintage way you guys recorded and really appreciate the mix. The vocals are great! The Lyrics are great! The bass and keys, FANTASTIC! I am seeing you guys playing at least 5 nights a week in roadside bars or at festivals, hopefully with a better drummer...
Groovin, funky, blues rock, track , vocals reminiscent of Mose Allison and Michael Franks, with a touch of the psychedelic. Nicely done overall.
Very novel lyric content.
Hot, if not sensual, stuff. Interesting rhythmical features fora mellow and dreamy funky with entertaining vocal performances and guitar wah wah.
Love the guitar in this so funky and vibrant. Vocals are good, the layering of the vocals also pretty cool. Bluesy and wonderful.
bless jazz bar song. likeable guitar and tune
nice bluesy jam. Good vocals and hook.
I have no suggestions, as this song stands on it's own.
I don't often listen to this type of music.I really liked the groove,It brought me back to the 70s all of you are far superior as far as musicians than I. everything clicked harmoniously.Music is a broadjam of emotion and your song 7 seas flows. great Job.
I think that this song has a super groovy feel to it and could definitely be placed in the right place!
I like the guitar and your vocals.
The different instruments used put together is quite good. It's got this funky, jazzy, bluesy kind of feel. I think it would suit being a soundtrack for TV series. Vocal quality is not bad. Overall a good effort.
nice playings, lyrics, chorus, james brown a bit like that, great
Love the wah-wah. Adds some "funk". Catchy tune for sure. Makes you want to get up and move around. Has a real jam feel to it. Nice job! Keep it comin!!
I like the unique lead vocals and the cool beat of the drums.
A like this track not normally what i w ould listen to I like the lazy/syncopated feel and the Harmonies and the wah wah.
Love the cosmic idea of this song. Harmonies are cool.
entertaining,sort of a 70s funk.lyrics ok,back vocal good. funk guitar good.
nice song, nice instrumentation
Wahh guitar adds some flavor.
I like the drum rolls.
The back up vocals do an excellent job of complementing the lead vocal.
Good job on breaking the beat up in certain places and letting it die down in the mix; keeps my ears happy.
Good lyrical content and musical concept.
