Bathing Beauties

Starlight through the rafters
Moonlight through the beams
Candlelight hereafter
Everything's just a dream
Oh can't you see
I wonder just what I'd see
If I could see
Two Bathing beauties
Bathing in a memory

Dogs bark when the wind blows
Crickets chirp through the screen
Girls talk about who knows
And everything in between
Oh can't you hear
I wonder just what I'd hear
If I could hear
Two Bathing beauties
Laughing about a falling tear

---Chorus---
If I could see them
There'd be nothing left to guess
And if I could hear them
Well, their hearts might be undressed
------------------

Soft light guards the angels
Mellow sounds fill the air
No one here is a stranger
Life is lived laissez faire
Oh make believe
I wonder just what they'd be
If not for me
Two bathing beauties
Bathing in a fantasy 2.) memory 3.) feeling free

like the style and the sound always on this artist always great production

Another well constructed Folk beauty. A pro production. Solid lyrics and well delivered. Use of instruments is appropriate and fills in beautifully around the vocalist. Well done.

Don't know enough about this genre of music, to give appropriate rating.

Good! Reminds me of Amy from Pure Prarie League

Another really cool song Jeff!! Some wonderful images in the lyric, and you really sing it nicely!! Harmonies and arrangement are nice. I hear a little Jimmy Buffett in this....and I love Buffett!!

Very good and intriguing tune with a very original concept. Really good and steady beat. Instrumentation is ideal. All in all just a very pleasant and smoothly flowing sound.

This song has a real good feel. Kinda puts a smile on your face. Just the vague image of two bathing beauties is enough to give a feel good, Jimmy Buffett, vibe. Singer kinda sounds like Buffett and the recording was nice and clean.

This tune has a nice Jimmy Buffett vibe to it. It sounds like the beach...I like the words, "I wonder what I could see/hear if I could see/hear

nice lyrics and playing was good.

A very evocative piece, well-performed and arranged. It seems to call up the nostalgia of an older man for the romantic life he once led and took for granted. It is beautifully expressed in easily accessible imagery and smooth simple music. The singer has a good voice and excellent delivery.

Oh man, I love how this flows. Very relaxing.

A sweet, conventional folk song with traditional instrumentation and traditional content. The percussion is very prominent and dooms the song to sound ordinary. It is the drum beat of a million other folk songs. With a less stereotype drumbeat the song would be much more original.

Great vocal quality and production. Song has a happy friendly vibe. Very much in the country/island vein

well written and recorded. This song rolls along nicely and takes you with it. Really good vocal with subtle backing harmonies pushing it to the front. I liked this, thanks.

Very Jimmy Buffett, great !
