So when John Mayall says that Pete McMahon is the best harmonica players he's ever heard, people should take notice. Pete McMahon fronted the most popular and successful blues band in Central New York history, The Kingsnakes, back in the Eighties. During that stint, he had the opportunity to work with nearly every national blues act going, most notably a four year stint with the legendary John Lee Hooker. During much of the Nineties, McMahon fronted Savoy Brown (this is when Mayall heard him), and now, as the millennium changes, he's launching yet another band, Pete McMahon & The Super Naturals. His gravelly vocals and texturally and melodically innovative harmonica work are on display for audiences to enjoy.
