Imagination, Originality, and Passion. 3 main ingredients that compose the boundaries of New Jersey based rock band Akora. The temptation to create music without limits, easily brought these 5 young individuals together. Rob Torres, Teddy Gibbons, David Jones, Jose Beltran, and Steve Biasucci form the bonds of the bands line-up. It was only a few months ago that the trio of Torres, Jones, and Gibbons struggled to find a new lead vocalist. After almost a year of searching, their answer only lied 2 rooms down in their practice facility. Biasucci, from the very talented New Jersey band Deny the Myth , joined the group in the spring of 2007, and quickly laid down vocals to the track “Falcore” . In addition to the new lead vocalist, Akora brought in Biasucci’s pal Beltran on Synth and Keyboard’s to round up the band. With a full line up in place, Akora is hard at work on their Debut CD “Thank you Alva E.”, with songs like “Naked Hallway Sex”, “Steam Pipe Alley”, and “Bullets for Ballads“, to be featured on the disc. Guitarist Rob Torres is engineering and recording the CD.
