Reviews

"Rural Renaissance Festival " (Performance with archguitarist Peter Blanchette and the Virtual Consort) [Wheeler's] voice was a joy to hear something in her seems to resonate easily with the period, making the music not only exquisite but somehow authentic. Her devotion to expressing the full meaning of the songs was gratifying her stage savvy helped her get everything possible out of each song her ornamentation was superb. All this, together with her effective expressions and Blanchette's remarkable accompaniment, combined to captivate the audience, which more than once let out sighs of enjoyment. - Thomas W. Hutchinson, The Recorder, Greenfield, MA USA

[CD What Thing Is Love] "I enjoyed it immensely.Amy's is a lovely natural voice, suitably sexy for the sentiments, fine lute playing. it is a fascinating program, you can purchase single tracks on the internet but I'd rather get the whole CD: it's too good just to select a few tracks. highly recommended."
- Clifford Bartlett, Editor, Early Music Review

SUBLIME! if you dig this genre this is one of the best releases out there. Overflowing with good cheer. - Dave Bowman CD Baby

"Scandinaviana" (Performance, Poland's National Philharmonic)once again [Wheeler] not only shows us that she can sing exquisitely and intelligently, with such expressive acting, but also that she knows precisely about what she is singing and how to command the stage.

I hope you know you don't need to contact me via email. I use personal email with many of my B-Jam friends because it is easier to complete more complex instructions. Anyway, I do have a few songs I'd like you to consider. Most of my singers are interested in pop. Many of my songs are cinematic/classical contemporary in nature. Are those styles you would be willing to take on? Did you hear any of my instrumentals that you really liked (to sing). Also, any re-records are in play!
