Joe Raines is a well-known live performer, Artist, and Producer from Ocala, FL. Now living in Gulfport, Ms. Joe has settled on the Gulfcoast, producing and writing songs and tracks for many of the local artist. Joe attended Florida A&M University, in Tallahassee FL. By trade, Joe started as a brass player. Now adding to his credits are Keyboards, Lead vocalist, Band Leader, Studio Owner, and Business Owner. Tajarc Productions, Inc. started in 2003 is the Family Co. that launched it's first Prod." Anthem of Solidarity" in memory of Sept.11th. Joe Raines writes lyrics and produces, R&B, HipHop, Film/TV,Blues, and some country tracks.

Joe Raines Biography

Joe Raines, a native Floridian, born in Bradenton and raised in Ocala, found his love of Music and Entertainment at the age of 12. His first contact with a live performance,
was a local high school band, which served as the doorway to the world of music ,for his entire life. In 1980,Joe Raines Pursued a college education in Music Ed. and arranging, at Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University (FAMU) giving him a more complete knowledge of the music industry. He developed skills in arranging and composing,playing piano and various other instruments, and singing.Joe performed in many theatrical productions such as"The Wiz" Bubbling Brown Sugar" and "New York New York." During his college career, Joe performed at the Dark Continent, Busch Gardens of Tampa FL. every summer, and full time after the completion of his studies .Organizing his first band in 1983, Joe and the Fellas performed many shows including the opening act for the Fabulous OJays. It was in 1987, when Joe Raines and the Fellas, recorded their first single on CBS Records entitled,"All the Way to Heaven" which was produced by Gene McFadden and featured Paul Shaffer on piano. From 1989 to 1992, Joe toured the east coast and the carribean extensively. His travels led him to the Gulfcoast of Mississippi, where he decicded to make his home.The Coast's Casino industry provided many venues of opportunity for Joe's talents, performing on the big stage as well as small venues. In 1996, Joe was cast in dual roles as a member of the Four Tops and Sam & Dave, in the American Superstar impersonation show, at the Grand Casino Gulfport. Joe also performed in "The Big Easy", New Orleans , La. at the Famous Door. His nearly four year run at the Famous Door and other surrounding Venues, only strenghtened his performing and live production skills. Since 2003, after moving back to the Gulfcoast, Joe Raines started his Family Owned company, Tajarc Productions Inc. where he has commited himself to writing, producing, booking, and cultivating some of the most selective and talented, Artists, Bands and Musicians, from the southeast and gulfcoast region of the country.
