Reed is a singer/songwriter who wears many hats. As an arranger performer he works in a variety of venues with bands, duos, and as a soloist. Be it concert venue, club, or private engagement, Reed has enjoyed every level of musical performance.
As a writer, Reed continues to write and record much of his own music. He also collaborates on a host of other artist's CD's and demos.
Raised by a swing/jazz sax player (H.J. Walsh) Reed's roots are in jazz and the pop/rock music of the sixties. His influences are broad and his music reflects this diversity. With his European ancestry (a French-born mother) and North and South American influences Reed's music lends itself to his smooth jazz, blues and latin rhythms attesting to a multi-cultural definition and song writing style.
