Lisa Mills, a native of Mississippi, played guitar and sang in the coastal areas of Mississippi, Alabama and Florida for a period extending over ten years.
Shortly after completing several recording sessions with Kotter Music at Legend Recording Studios in Mississippi, Lisa appeared frequently with the Janice Joplin Backup Band, "Big Brother and The Holding Co." both here in the US and abroad. Her great voice and appealing personality soon ushered her to celebrity status.
Lisa Mills has been compared to several very talented vocalist, such as, Bonnie Raitt, Janice Joplin, Etta James, Dinah Washington and others. Lisa has her own unique style of music delivery however, and she is not an imitation of anyone.
Lisa has become a regular visitor to Europe appearing at the famous Bergen Blues Festival in Norway, Glastonbury and other UK folk and blues festivals.

VI, entitled Brandie Spradley, A Mississippi Champion. Brandie began recording with Kotter Music shortly before
Katrina struck. Incidentally, Brandie and her family lost their home and all of their possessions in that hurricane In fact the studio in Bay St. Louis where her recordings were made was also destroyed. Fortunately, her
basic recordings along with other Kotter Music recordings were removed and evacuated to a safe place.
