Born into a musical family, I began playing piano at age 4, mimicking my parents and other family members. Piano lessons began shortly after and playing and singing in church. By age 12, I was pianist and backup singer for a gospel group and "on the road". Two years later, I was performing on stage with my father each Saturday Night on a radio-broadcasted country show. Shortly after, I signed a contract with a small label recording studio and recorded two original songs. The studio had a adjoining auditorium of which popular country artists performed. My band opened for these groups and traveled throughout the state performing and opening for Nashville acts. By age 17, I began in nightclubs as "the girl who could play and sing". Several years later, I solo'ed by playing piano bar for a motel chain. After about two years, I started a three piece group and started playing a wider range of clientele . Presently, I have a four piece group and I'm still performing!
