Chotoons writes a broad range of material that swings between darkly comic indie rock and moody electronic music. She was recently featured on a compilation released by Six Degrees Records (home to Bill Laswell). As a songwriter, she has written tunes for film and TV shows such as The Riches, Veramonica, and More to the Chinese Side. She also works as a video director and editor, producing documentaries on DMC Finalist DJ Kuttin Kandi and NYC Basement Bhangra founder DJ Rekha, among many others.
