What describes Bobby's music best? 3 words come to mind: hooks, warmth, sweet. Bobby creates his smooth blend with: cup of jazz, a hint of pop, 1/2 gallon of funk, Tbsp. island & latin spices, and tops it off with a pint of cool sweeeeeeeeeeetness. Then after he mixes all that up .. bamm! the hook. (Warning! not recommended before goiing to bed because the hooks keep rolling in your head)...really! (Call me if it doesn't.)
Some other fine ingredients in the mix are:
ERIC MARIENTHAL - SAX ...Tenor Sax ( plays with Chick Corea's Electrik Band, Russ Freeman-Rippingtons, Lee Ritenour and an cool artist himself
MICHAEL O'NEILL - GUITARIST...George Benson's guitar player for over 12 years and simply the best!
BRYAN SAVAGE - FLUTE... who is noted for his saxaphone stopped by to play some flute.
MEL BROWN - BASSIST...Mmmmmel is the salt needed for any project. Played for Gladys Knight, Mark Anthony, Chuck Loeb and the list goes on.
DARREN RAHN - SAX...DownBeat magazine award winner, just finished producing Wayman Tisdale 's 2004 hit release"Ain't no stoppiin us now" on RedevousRecords
BRANDY WELLS -- VOCS. Brandy is the flavor you want to hear , the sound you make when your diving into this smooth jazz pot (mmmmm) her vocals are very sweet but with that little edge. She stopped in from her busy schedule to help dad out with some background work.
Great year around gift idea!. Spread the word!
