Born June 22, 1983, in the small city of Rock Hill, South Carolina, William Walker was a very curious child. Listening to the sounds of such artists as James Brown, Sam Cooke, and Marvin Gaye, became a valuable tool in building his style. In 1995, William began writting songs when he was approached by the father of one of his long-time friends, Donald Wright. Mr. Wright was so impressed with William's talent and perserverance that he told him he would like the opportunity to help him mold his skills. William prided himself with his amazingly versitile style. People wonderd haw a person of such a young age could make music that could reach people two to three times his age. It was said that if you were to just sit and listen to one of his songs, you could feel the hunger that he has. William himself said,"For the love of music, I will do anything, because it's me and it's all I have. It's my means of escaping reality Iths the window into my life."
