Zebra started around the middle of 2002 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The members of the group have been as follows: Cristian Jerez (keyboards), Eloy Michelini (drums), Jose Mirelli (guitars and keys), later Jerez and Michelini left the band and they were replaced by Rodrigo Ferrero (piano and keys) and Andrés Szapiro (drums) and added Francisco Crossa (tenor sax), Horacio Bazzi (bass and double-bass). The consequence of all the comings and goings in relation to the band members has been different and strong musical changes. At the beginning, the band was characterised by a style close to acid jazz only, but actually Zebra developed until it could mix different styles, mainly Acid jazz, Funk and Brazilian Bossa. At this new stage, Zebra is composing new songs so as to give Live Shows and also to release a new album.
