Soon after forming around late ‘99, members David Pack, Don Wilson, Linus Roop, and Dan Slayton formed Withdrawal Method and recorded our 1st release containing 11 songs of saturated guitars and sorrow-laden melodies that lyrically portray subjects such as our own personal hardships and tragedies. Since the inception and 1st release, we have subsequently written and recorded two additional albums encompassing all the aggression of the 1st but reflecting maturity and an evident sense of direction. Our latest addition, bassist Brandon Carroll, gives further insight while we write and record our 4th release and tour the area for people who partake in the rapidly growing white-water rafting industry. Will southern West Virginia be the next music scene? In all likelihood, probably not, but maybe there is a group of hard-working, dedicated people there with the sincerity and devotion to be the next milestone in music..To be what is Withdrawal Method. Bio

Withdrawal Method...In the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains and once-thriving coal towns live a people seemingly distant of other existence outside the way of life and place they call home. Most people here embrace the isolation which is only occasionally interrupted by a coal train’s whistle echoing through the new river valley. There are others who dream of places far away from the local bluegrass musicians, the family-owned drug store, and the mountains themselves...That something bigger waits on the other side. But even still, there are a few of us who welcome isolation and the sense of beauty, and creativity that isolation imparts. We realize that the rest of the world is really waiting on us. Soon after forming Withdrawal Method around late ‘99, members David Pack, Don Wilson, Linus Roop, and Dan Slayton recorded our 1st release. Entitled “A Moment Divine,” 11 songs of saturated guitars and sorrow-laden melodies lyrically portray subjects such as our own personal hardships and tragedies, the nature and fragility of human interaction, parasitic behavior and war.
