Bio

It is said that fame is not for the faint of heart, and faint is definitely not a trait of this Eastern Los Angeles spawned emcee. Since his adolescent years, Famous, dubbed Fame, has been ringing bells amongst underground backpackers and "pushing the envelope" for mainstream hip hoppers alike. Proclaiming to be one of the most creative and inspirational artist yet to be discovered. The future of this emcee seems to be promising him a lot more than 15 minutes... With a mixtape/album in the making, Fame with the help of the dynamic production team, "Fresh Kidz" is sure to make some serious noise to come. The artists 1st solo effort "Horns or Halos" is said to be an awe inspiring, jaw dropping opus that is sure to strike the perfect chord and receive a welcomed response from longtime hip hop fans; as well as tap into untouched markets within the genre and extend beyond. The record is riddled with extremely creative and fresh concepts that vividly illustrate tales of women, religion, decisions and material desires all while seamlessly infusing anthems for party goers.

However, Famous wasn't always Famous. The name originated from a nomination for the "Most Likely..." superlative in his senior year. Even before eventually winning-- the nomination was enough to propagate the use of the alias Famous among his classmates. He embraced the coinage of the term and hasn't abandoned the gesture since. In early years the lyricist would be associated with a team of 5 emcees going under the name Fortune 500. His attempt to assemble a band of ultimate emcees, which ultimately failed, found rapper Fame working on a solo project titled "The Dichotomy of F5." However, the project was placed on hold when a 2nd attempt at creating the ultimate all-star line-up of emcees embarked. After attempting to record an album with the 4 emcees jealousy and egos eventually lead to the destruction of the super group and the 4 -with time- split.

With the future of the group looking dim, Fame and Cal who had grown to be very good friends began working under the name Double Entendre. Their debut mix-tape release titled "The Initial Public Offering" was completed and garnered the duo a buzz that out lasted the funding for the project. Lacking the necessary distribution it was placed on hold indefinitely.

In the meantime Fame has dropped the ous and signed on with production company Fresh Kidz to release a solo project and has taken his artistry (guided by the expertise of his long time friends and accomplices) to a level said to be both comparative and competitive with legendary emcees in hip hop's present and past. Backed by the Fresh Kidz, Fame seems to have Hip-Hops best interest at heart and she in return is looking to spend a lot more than 15 minutes with him.
