Most of my music would fall under the genres of Electronica, Dance/Trance, and New Age.
I think my drumming experience really has helped me to come up with some innovative approaches to these styles of music, although at the end of the day, I still see these as just labels and I'm always open to new ideas for my music which will no doubt lead me in new directions in the future.

Warren Bell Bio

I was born in Sydney, Australia and after leaving school I decided to go pro as a drummer. Over the next 20 years I toured and recorded with some top Australian artists and bands including The Delltones, Digger Revell, John Williamson, Rolf Harris, Eddie Low, Alan Caswell, Jean Stafford, John McCall, Grand Junction and The Beatnix. During this time I also toured with international artists Cher and Charlie Pride. I was also teaching drums and writing.
In 1992 I decided to further my music education and study for a Contemporary Music degree. The degree was only available in Lismore on the north coast of NSW so I ended up leaving Sydney. I stayed in Lismore after I finished my degree and worked freelance with various bands and artists. At the same time I continued drum teaching in the area and also got my own home recording studio together. Even though I'd been writing for some years, the music degree really inspired and helped me in my writing and compositions.
As time went on I became more and more interested in composing in my own style and using the idea of cycles also in different ways. In 2010, I released a new age/meditative album called "Inner Spiral" in which I attempted to combine these influences.
At present my interest and passion tends more towards the genres of electronica and dance/trance styles.
