Virginia Donaldson Olander is a singer/songwriter, composer and working musician whose career has been appreciated by scores of audiences in the New Orleans area. Her days begin at 6:45 a.m., when her first student arrives and ends at night composing at the piano. “After about 14 hours, I call it a day. But I always wish there were more hours in a day. I go to sleep with music in my heart.”
On December 17, 2004, Virginia will conduct the premiere of her original musical work “An Advent Journey: God’s People” exploring the ancient symbols of the Judeo-Christian traditions.
