Bio

Trevore was formed somewhere around September of 2000. The group members consist of Derek Reid (lead vocals, sax, guitar) and Mike Mullowney (vocals, guitar, bass, found sounds). The two have joined together to create a style of music that is hip hop and electonic based, but at the same time utilizes all forms of music. The musical styles of Trevore have gained both praise and criticism, and although the group is hip hop based the band does not claim to be a hip hop group. They are just two guys who look at music as an artform and apply to their style what they have learned from such influences as: Aphex Twin, The Roots, Bjork, Radiohead, Beck, Mos Def, Reflection Eternal, Squarepusher, The Automater, Del, and many many more.
