Trailmix Bio

Charismatic Brooklyn-based producer "Trailmix", a.k.a. "Kelley Kelley", has been steady on his grind since graduating Berklee College of Music in 2001. Shortly after relocating to Brooklyn in 2002, he connected with R&B vocalist/rapper E. Casanova and produced a five-song EP, and a music video for the single "Light It Up" (myspacetv.com).

During that period, Trailmix, the multi-instrumentalist joined up with up and coming hip-hop group "Aquavibe". He helped step up the band's live show and recordings, securing three songs on the "Playboy The Mansion" video game; Aquavibe also headlined a show at the Playboy mansion for the debut of the video game.

Not content to just work in a band setting, Trailmix continued developing and honing his writing and production style through Zen Media group. There he collaborated with their staff writers and gained his first major label production and writing credit for the song "Eavesdroppin" on the debut CD for the teenage sensation "The Slumber Party Girls". UMG VP Ron Fair selected the track himself. During this time Trailmix also had his first volume "Bangin' Beats" published by music library Freeplaymusic.com. Via Freeplay, Trailmix has had his beats used by ESPN, NBA channel, MTV's "The Hills", and many more.

Most recently, Trailmix co-wrote and produced the single "Too Late" for R&B/ pop singer "Katie Neil" (myspace.com/katieneil), who signed with the "Full Force" production company. He also delivered a second Volume, "Bangin' Beats II", to Freeplaymusic.com
