Yarrow Ann, Singer/Songwriter
Yarrow's songs are "by a voice that resonates with conviction" according to one TAXI A&R music reviewer. "Very convincing vocal emotion", "a unique voice" and "an emotional style" according to others.
Yarrow began performing professionally in high school. During University studies in Bloomington, Boulder, and Boston she performed in coffee houses, local pubs and private parties. While living in Colorado her performances turned primarily to country venues in Boulder, Nederland and Steamboat Springs.
When Yarrow moved to South Florida she continued performing and had the honor of vocal studies with Gina Maretta (Soprano, La Scala, Milan & master of the Aureliano Pertile technique) in Miami. Yarrow began recording her original music at Triiad Studio with Mike Laskow as chief engineer, as well as Crossroads and Livewire for song demos.(Even did some backup vocals at legendary Criteria Studios in Miami) Yarrow later worked at an international ad agency writing and producing comercial jingles.
Yarrow now resides in the White Mountains of New Hampshire writing songs, and providing backup vocals and harmonies for local musicians, and always interested in collaborations!
