Wendy Lee, up and coming new Country artist, her debut CD Keep Dreamin is due to release on or about October 1st and you can contact her for more info on the release or to reserve your copy. I grew up in Connecticut, but now reside in Maine, good old country backwoods. I have performed in Nashville on 2 occasions, and performed with bands as a guest singer. Also formed my own band back in 95' which ran for 5 years and I have built up quite a fanbase and now is reaching outside Maine. My music is simple and to the point, nothing fancy but I write what I feel and it goes on paper. I just want the fans to enjoy the music and reach the people. I have been working on this debut CD for well over a year and it is now in the duplicating process as we speak. I want to make this a success cuz music is my lifes work and passion. I have 2 wonderful girls and great family support, and god as well is my support to!! Hope you enjoy the music!!

Influences

I have to say my biggest influence in my music is my family. I grew up listening to my aunts and uncles sing and play since I was young, that inspired me more than anything.

Bio

I am a 34 year old Country/Bluegrass singer songwriter. My debut CD release is due out at the end of July if all goes well. All songs were written from things that I have gone thru or have in some way been connected to. Simple words but they alll have meaning to me. I have built up quite a fanbase here in Maine and elsewhere and I thank each and everyone of those people for their support in helping me get to where I am today, if it werent for them my dream wouldnt have happened. Been to Nashville a long while back and ready to head back down again. Hope you enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Hi there, would it cost me anything to get the pro review?

Hi Wendy, I know that the Professional Reviews are a service by music industry professionals that is provided by Broadjam.com just like the service of cleaning the rugs in your home or like the craftsman putting a room addition on your home. I think services by professionals are usually paid and my CJP-NHRecords consulting business is also a paid service too. Only as a Pro Reviewer here on Broadjam I don't charge the amount that I do in consulting with the songwriter or artist etc. I can't help myself in giving personal knowledge from experience which is the added benefit of my Pro review. Remember though each of the Pro Reviewers have individual benefits of getting their perspective on a song verse someone who is a Broadjam member who may give you a "I like it" or "It's great" which become ego boosters which ARE nice too! Does this help answer your question?

Yes it does...thanks...I have not played in a long while, have put music on the back burner but have recently been getting the itch to play again. Back in 2003 I released my CD, Keep Dreaming, and have been thinking about writing again.

Talent is something that never goes away and I think it runs in the blood. Even artists that are painters stop sometimes to paint masterpieces for awhile but the actual passion gets them back into it. It is a gift from a higher power source than our own that MUST be shared with the world. We as artists must understand the gifts which are meant for a higher purpose than our own egos. When we understand this intuitively then getting back to it does happen. Performing music is one way to keep your physical abilities with an instrument sharpened. To write should be a notebook close with you all the time as a journal of emotions to take to polish then someday share as the intentions for a healing emotional tool. Good luck and stay in touch. God bless, Nikki
