Warren was 3 years old when his deafness was discovered.  After surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids, his hearing was restored to about a 50 decibel loss in both ears.  Today he wears hearing aids to help out but still struggles to hear conversations, speeches, lyrics to songs, FIlms and TV shows, and live theater.
 

Warren enjoyed listening to music if it was beautiful or catchy.  Rarely did he understand the lyrics or even know the titles of the songs.  He simply switched stations until he heard something he liked.

 

Warren grew up with a piano in the house and learned to love playing it as friends and family taught him songs.  He eventually began picking up tunes and playing them by ear.  At 12 yrs old,  Warren began writing original compositions  and performed in nearly every pops concert or talent show in middle & high school as well as frequently playing and singing at
