The Weathermakers

The Weathermakers are a four piece rock band that has been playing together for over three years. Their sound is loud and soft. Sweet and sour. Crunchy and smooth. The combination of male/female vocals and the interplay between the instruments make their sound a uniquely hardcore/punk influenced rock with a soft side. It has been compared to a fawn driving a bulldozer.
The Weathermakers recorded their full length album, "Alive in the City" with Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn Studios. They will be holding a CD Release party on Saturday, September 18 at Maverick's .
Bandmembers Nina and Natasha started playing together in the influential all-girl band Sophomore Level Psychology in 1999. Matt and Chuck come from the hardcore scene and have played together in bands such as the Grey and Three Penny Opera.

Comments

Chicago is a cool song. Draws you right in with contrast between beat and soft opening voices.
