I've been playing saxophone in amateur bands for many years. Over the past couple of years I have been learning how to record myself and produce song arrangements using home studio software. Discovered that there is alot of difference between being able to play reasonably well and getting an acceptable recorded performance! In recent months I have started to learn the guitar and I have had a go at writing a song. Paint A Life For You (Framed In My Love) is my first effort. I played the vocal line on saxophones since my voice leaves alot to be desired! I have posted the lyrics and uploaded a karaoke style video as well. It is a ballad with a latin feel that I think would suit a jazz style singer, to add to a repertoire of standard songs and show tunes.
