Before moving to Austin, from New York City in the mid 1990s, Sissy Siero began a life long journey as a singer songwriting on the streets, and in New York's infamous folk clubs.
Her first band in 1985, was a power pop trio 'Venus Fly Trap'; Sissy and Soozie Tyrell's (E Street Band) new band became a legeand on the streets, clubs and music cable shows . Her next project was "Wolverines" with Joan Osborne, Catherine Russell, Soozie Tyrell and Lisa Lowell; the band's music was an eclectic mix of urban folk funk; whose fans included Bruce Springsteen.

Sissy has been included in some of Austin's most prominent songwriter circles; has opened for Abra Moore, amoung others, and has been invited to perform at several esteemed showcases, including the Martha's Vineyard Songwriters Retreat, Kerrville Music Festival, and the Telluride Music Festival.
Evolution as a writer /performer has turned her focus to blending a love for Jazz and soul and acoustic pop sensibilites for the new release.
