Samantha Mooney is a Gold Coast singer/songwriter well known for being lead singer of musical duo 'Scorpio' with regular appearances over the years at venues such as Palazzo Versace, Conrad Jupiters Casino, and most major clubs and hotels on the Gold Coast. Her songwriting career has earned her no less than 10Top Ten awards for the Australian Songwriters Association national songwriting awards since 2003. In 2010 she was nominated for the prestigious Rudy Brandsma Award for her song "Just Enjoy The Ride". She was nominated again in 2011 for her song "Drifting Away from the Sun" and was the Rudy Brandsma Award Winner in 2017 for her song "Free and Fearless".
