Pájjaro
Named Alejandro known as Pájjaro, he was born in Mexico and became a musician and compositor. He plays guitar and also is a luthier.
While people might label a particular style, his music fuses several Jazz and Rock concepts, where Contemporary, Progressive and Avant garde get combined when composed and then performed by his band; they are 3 members in it and each one of them seem to enjoy music not just to entertain themselves but to reach people´s joy with enthusiasm and a very positive vibe from moment to moment.
His themes are unique, new and inventive since those have been characterized by the sound of Pajjarófono which is an original instrument intellectually created and also handcrafted to be performed by Pájjaro.
It´s sound ranges from viola and citar... at last people might enjoy birdsongs created in a fancy and surprising artistic mode.
Although it is not conventional, this refined music is contagious even in a popular way without diluting his experimental vision of creating new and exciting proposals with near endless imagination.
On stage and outside of it, he projects integrity, transparency, joy, peace and his personal feelings through energetic and also atmospherical tunes taking care of the compositional environment by every auditive detail his music has, in addition to his themes and later improvisations, which are fiery awesome.
In the album "Macular Vision" he manages all creativity, composition and performance in a very positive mood. As artistic music is, as fresh and understandable it gets.
He is a virtuoso musician who has explored over time in the construction of instruments and guitar techniques to spice up his musical language ever since its conception to each of his dynamic executions.
As every compositor he has several influences such as: Olivier Messiaen, John Coltrane, Pat Metheny, Allan Holtsworth, Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer to name a few...
Labeling his Compositors work in two different sections, is a visionary who also likes to create pieces for films, runways and visual arts; this ones have different intentions so their rhythm vary from free jazz to electronic beats.
In his life as musician, he has participated in some Jazz festivals and Progressive rock in México, but his goals are to let people around the world hear and delight his intense and simply outrageous music.
This original work is mind blowing, refined and inventive, so a wise selection to make!
