I have been an artist for the last 10 yrs dabbling between music and films. My credits include self titled CD 'Mukama' released a few years back and most recently the single 'Save the world' which I wrote and performed with an ensemble of artists from Africa and the U.S. This is a song about AIDS the terrible disease that continues to devastate mankind especially in the the third world.
My other credits include main role in enlish/swahili feature film 'bongoland' about an immigrants plight in the U.S.A. Most recently had cameo role in 'Tusamehe' another feature film about AIDS of which 'save the world' is featured in the soundtrack.
I would describe my music as eclectic with no limit as to what is permissable. My main influences however are r&b, reggae, hiphop and simple great lyrics irrespective of genre.
