When not waist deep in a trout stream, Michael Crittenden performs regularly as a solo acoustic act thoughout the mid west. "Songwriting and fishing has been a great combination for me" says Crittenden. Many of the original concepts from Michael's songs were formulated while spending time amongst his native Michigan's waters & woods. "I like to celebrate the moods and wonders of nature as they relate to people's everyday lives". Crittenden is also the founding member and chief songwriter of the group Troll for Trout. Michael's songs have been heard on radio stations across the country as well as on MTV, ABC and PAXnet television.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA, Michael has performed most of his life, sharing the stage with the likes of Hootie & the Blowfish, Doobie Brothers, Peter Frampton, Shawn Mullins, Jonatha Brooke, and Kenny Wayne Shepard among others.
