It’s been over twenty years since I started singing, writing and recording with an acoustic guitar (sometimes a Farfisa organ) and a Radio Shack portable cassette recorder. My latest release “Six Songs and the Savage Beats” was created with the help of a few things I’ve learned and developed since then both musical and technological and some inspiration to try a few new things and new technologies. I developed severe arthritis a few years ago so other than vocals and a bit of hand percussion all the instrumentation I do now is programmed.

The style is essentially rock with some jazz and world influence. The five “Savage Beats” on the CD are instrumentals. They’re more like ambient grooves or even drum and bass at times.

The style is essentially rock with some jazz and world influence. The five “Savage Beats” on the CD are instrumentals. They’re more like ambient grooves or even drum and bass at times.

My previous releases include “No Clue” (1999) with some co-writing and guitar performances by Ken Doucette, “The Bagmen” (1991) also with Ken Doucette and Laura Rosch’s “Lonesome Kitty” (1997) which I co-produced, engineered, did programming on and backing vocals. That CD also included a composition of mine called “Just A Dream”.

I did a lot of live performance early in my career singing and playing guitar and bass as well as drums and keyboards on occasion, until my arthritis forced me to give up playing those instruments. Combining my past experience with today’s technology has allowed me to develop my composition and arranging skills despite my physical limitations.
