Mezonic's Bio
His name is Mesaan S. Wuor, also known as Mezonic. He was born in Monrovia, Liberia on December 9, 1980. He attended elementary school in Liberia at a school called J.J. Roberts United Methodist School. Mezonic has lived in four different countries. In 1990, Liberia had some political instability which led to a war. He and his family moved to Freetown, Sierra Leone for about a year. They then moved back to Liberia and had to flee again in 1996. He, his mother, and his sisters, moved to Ghana until the war ceased down in Liberia. While in Ghana, he attended Accra High School. Later in 1997, he and his parents came to the United States. He completed high school in Charlotte, NC at Independence High School. He then decided to attend Devry University in Decatur, GA. He earned his B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering Technology in March 2003. He has had several job experiences in his field. In June 2006, he also completed his MBA with a concentration in Information Systems at Keller Graduate School of Management (Charlotte, NC). Mezonic said, "I've always loved music. I started rapping when I was 13 years old in Liberia. I was influenced by rap music through artists like 2pac, Biggie, LL Cool J, The roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Mos Def & Talib Kwali, Nas, Jay-Z etc..." Mezonic was also a drummer in his school band in Liberia. He started getting into producing in Atlanta when he met his friend, Ish. Mezonic said," I am still learning new things everyday especially with music. My ultimate goal is to be a very successful rapper, producer, and businessman". In 2008 Mezonic Records signed two deals. One with www.sonicbids.com and the other with www.musicsubmit.com to help expose independent artist music to the world. The plan was to produce compilation CDs and get them out to djs, radio stations, and other media outlets... In 2009 Mezonic Records signed a distribution deal for major retailers and many independent stores to carry their products. As a result, their album (INSPIRE) is in Best Buy and our other products are in many stores around the U.S. see www.mezonicrecords.com/retail_stores From 2008- present, Mezonic Records teamed up with radio promoters and e-blast music/video promoters to get our music on the radio. Mezonic Records signed artist (Lone Star) to their roster. March 2010 Mezonic Records signed artist (Quiet) to a production deal. Feb. 2010. (What It Is) by Mezonic feat. Trisha & James was featured on XM Satellite Radio (SHADE 45) Show on May 10, 2010 On May 28th & 29th 2010, Mezonic perform at the Ink Fest Live Event(www.inkfestlive.com) in Concord,NC. He was an opening act for Major recording artists (Three 6 Mafia). On June 24, 2010, Mezonic Records signed a non-exclusive deal with a music licensing company to license all their albums in more than 400,000 music outlets worldwide. By the end of July 2010, Mezonic Records signed local teenage group (Carolinas BFAM) to their label. BFAM stands for Brothers from another mother. Mezonic produced all the songs they have recorded so far and he is still working on their debut album, which should be released by late November 2010.
