Oh and what's Ivy Joe like?
I did one of my first recording sessions of my life with him in my younger days. He was very patient and was the first person I ever heard use the word "dry" to describe the guitar sound he wanted. It took me a minute to figure out that he just wanted me to turn off my echoplex!(haha).
That's Bleepin' Awesome man, what a great musical mind though. you're a lucky dude to have received that kinda opportunity, esp. when you were younger and still impressionable so to speak. an agile mind or whatnot. and yes sir, that dry sound is right on the money.
Hey, I wanted to tell ya one more time that i really enjoyed that floating little ditty of yours that i just reviewed. but then i skimmed ya profile Raging Bull, and obviously, you aint hurting for indicators of your talent, nor are you hurting for compliments thereof i imagine. So here's to the fortunate... as well as the forlorn. your brother in song, -Crawford Hurst
Thanks for the love, man.
Thanks for a thoughtful review. "Outro is too extended..." for what exactly? However if you've truly recorded for George Clinton I guess you're up for the downstroke. This is very good btw: "All my friends are reading Nietzche & Jung, but then they'll go and act like Cheech & Chong"
