Marcus Bennett-lead vocals/guitar/ 24 yrs old has been a singer and songwriter in the saturated New York City/New Jersey tri state music scene. After graduating Purchase College Conservatory of Music and meeting some of Manufactured Youth’s future band mates there, he formed a band called Still Life, in which the members had too many differences and decided to call it quits as a band. Since Marcus was the soul songwriter he decided to make up another band called Manufactured Youth. “I cant stop writing. The material is constantly shooting out of my head as thoughts about lyrics and song are constantly spinning around up there, ya know”. While he was doing this he was asked to front a well known band called the Rumrats. The Rumrats have been touring all over the NYC and NJ scene. The shows have been supporting Marcus helping him get around while concentrating on Manufactured Youth. - Many great well known New York City Musicians have been noticing Bennet's performing, vocals and songwriting talent and have been asking and working with him such as Jimi K Bones and Aaron Brooks the drummer for Manufactured Youth who has also played drums for Guns N Roses, Lenny Kravitz and has taken lessons as a kid from the late Jon Bonham of Led Zepplin.
