"Los Chechos is a band of good friends and brothers who love recreating some of Latin America's best sounds, ranging from reggae/ska and cumbia to pop-rock. The band, led by multilingualist Alejandro Punguil, sings songs in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The group features guitarists Matt Manske and Jeff Alexander, bassist Kevin Knapp, keyboardist Peter Baggenstoss, percussionist Marcel Colbert, and drummer Josh Pultorak.

Los Chechos are playing the Cardinal Bar's Carnaval kick-off party this Friday the 27th of January. On February 9th, we play the Crystal Corner's annual Bob Marley celebration at 9:30pm. We also play at High Noon Saloon on February 24th at midnight for Madison's Pan-American Carnaval.

Additionally, we play the last Thursday of every month at The Alchemy, starting around 10:30pm.
