Leastways was originally formed in 2002 by Alan Garr and Ryan Groulx as an outlet to showcase original country, folk and rock songs written by the two.

Leastways has two CD's, one released in 2003 called "Intemperance" and one just released this year (2008)titled "X".

Leastways consists of singer songwriter guitarist Ryan Groulx originally from Encinitas, CA and Alan Garr originally from Atlanta, GA. The two met in 2002 in North Carolina and hit it off musically right away. They are always working on new songs and try to play out a few time per month.

Leastways was originally formed in 2002 by Alan Garr and Ryan Groulx as an outlet to showcase original country, folk and rock songs written by the two.
Leastways has two CD's, one released in 2003 which quickly went aluminum and one just released this year (2008)titled, "X".

Some highlights of the Leastways journey include:

*Alan and Ryan cancel two shows in Wilmington, NC in May 2004 after Alan is found unconscious in a bathroom in Durham, NC. Subsequently, Alan is hospitalized for four weeks with acute pancreatitis and pneumonia due to continued severe alcohol abuse.

*Fresh our of rehab, Alan and Ryan embark on a summer tour of 10 shows, of which four are canceled due to problems ranging from, "unacceptable fluorescent lighting" to "wrong brand of club soda at venue" and my personal favorite, " have a really bad feeling about this show".

*Leastways takes three year hiatus to try to "stop being so weird", and hopes to start playing out again in 2009..We'll see how well that goes.......
