Bio

No good at talking about myself, but here goes--

Born in 84, grew up with music everywhere - literally. My mother played/toured/recorded with prog. metal/rock bands for nearly 20 years, so most of my formative years were spent in studios, making trips to production offices, and at band practices/rehearsals. When I was old enough to really choose for myself, I got into bass, but didn't end up liking it as a first instrument - thought it was too restrictive. Switched over to guitar at about 14, joined my first band at 18 or so - played a couple coffee shop gigs, highlighted by the mosh pit we got going in the coffee shop - they actually had to shut us down because the crowd was wrecking the place.. Not a bad experience for a kid. Graduated highschool, wasn't intersted in college, and left DC for Seattle due to lack of music community there. If you weren't playin punk at that point, you didn't have a band.

Got to Seattle in 2002, and after numerous failed attempts at working with musicians claiming to be serious, then flaking out time after time, I just started doin my own thing. Now, I'm an artist (graphic... sketch, paint, etc.) - visual as well as martial, and a musician. I teach preschool for a day job. Love the kids.
