Salvaged from the remains of several destroyed projects, the band came to be in late 2002, when guitarist Craig Amorosi and bassist Scott Baskin were introduced to drummer Roman Howerton. They immediately meshed.
Their drastically different backgrounds and interests somehow managed to form the giant robot that is Kill Radius. All they needed were two things: a singer, and a place to hone their creations to a razor-sharp edge.
Before these were found, the band endured one deployment to a combat zone, one shattered arm, and countless relocations. It wasn't until the second half of 2003 that Kill Radius finally could settle into a feverous practice schedule in one location. Soon after that, the band's search for a vocalist ended with the enlisting of singer Qwen10 Watts.
