Born on the 16th August 1977 the day Elvis Presley died music has been essential to Kenny from day one. Kenny was born into a musical family with his father the drummer in the highly successful Irish band the Miami Showband. The Miami Showband had a huge following in the 1960s and the group had a multitude of number 1 hits.
Kenny had a very big influence from his father’s music and it reflects in his own music. There is truth in his lyrics and honesty in his music. He pulls hard on your heart strings so as to involve you in the song. Kenny writes songs that tell stories of love’s lost and found, of troubles and trials we face. He has a voice that could be heard from a mile away and a remarkable stage presence. Kenny has had some success with previous bands in his native Ireland and just last year a song he penned "The Game" came 3rd in the very prestigious international song of peace. Kenny left Ireland in 1998 went to mainland Europe and traveled all over playing and perfecting his writing. He has just finished his first full length solo album and the reaction so far has been amazing. The album is a mixture of studio, acoustic and live recordings so as to show the listener his full potential. Kenny has been influenced by Van Morrison, John Lennon, Jeff Buckley, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis and Johnny Cash but to name a few.
He is sure to be one of the great songwriters of our time.
