Welcome. Much of the music I write yearns for lyrics and I am open to collaborating.
The music ranges in genre and I find it difficult to cast.
There are melodies that would be appropriate to a show
songs perhaps for film
melodies that don't require anything but a feling and an ear.
even songs that just cry out for some lyrics

I find myself each morning tied to the carousel
and in between the clang of the bells and whistles I breathe.
And as the world blurs by and the children fade away
I hold steadfast onto the pastic rein, knowing all along it would not really hold if I
were to fall.
Rubbing the bright painted mane the colors won' lift and leave no lasting mark,
will I?
OK, I actually am not sure why I wrote that, but then again I don't really know where any of the music I write comes from. It's about how I feel, and perhaps how I am hoping to make you feel.
My name is Jonathan Goldenthal and I am a 48 year old , with a strong
resistance to leaving his childhood behind. I am blessed with a loving wife and friend of 20 + years and 3 zany kids.
This is my first effort at putting forth my music.
I hope you enjoy it. Since I experiment with many different music formats it may be hard to classify.
