Bio

Jamie Rounds is a writer and performer living in Los Angeles, California. His guitar-based, melodic pop songs have been used by MTV, Paramount Pictures and Roger Corman Films, among others. In addition, 2001’s “10 GREAT CAR TUNES” (Not Lame Records) appeared on Live 365’s “CD’s Of The Year” list, with 3 cuts topping the mp3 charts in the separate categories of Pop, Folk Rock and Doo Wop. Since entering the film and TV music world, he has established ongoing collaborations with some of Hollywood's most respected working composers and music supervisors, including the people behind the multi-platinum selling soundtrack from the Coen Bros. "O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU".

Rounds spent several years in Nashville as a staff writer, where he performed regularly around town with friends Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Walter Egan and Stacey Earle. He has appeared in concert as guitarist and vocalist with John Lee Hooker, The Steve Earle Band, Carter Wood, and many others, and was part of John Fogerty's "BLUE MOON SWAMP" tour in 1997. He is currently lead guitarist for the seminal New Wave band John Wicks & The Records (“Starry Eyes”, “Teenarama”). Graham Nash and rockabilly pioneer Charlie Gracie recently covered Rounds' "A LITTLE TOO SOON" for Gracie's new CD.
