Chunk?y Mu?sic (chun´kë myoo´zik) n. 1. culmination of vocal and instrumental sounds characterized as being too technologically progressive to be plainly retro and too insightful to be simply electronic; 2. music that journeys exotically in the spaces in between; 3. comprised of recycled chunks and original grooves having a tendency to loop in sections and/or with swirls of lush keyboards, irregular bursts of organic instrument and an unmistakable voice undulating throughout; 4. aural substance notorious for lightening listener?s mood and behavior: effects range from intense excitement accompanied by rhythmic movement and/or trance-like reflective states of healing.

Jacinta is one of a kind, a unique and dynamic live PA artist delivering a multimedia experience in real time. Her voice is alluring and magical, her band extensions of her fingers and the impressions they leave behind on floppies, zips, hard disks, keyboards, infrared beams, and guitar strings.

Bio

Although she took her first breath in Portland, Oregon, Jacinta was still wrapped in a bundle when her family relocated to Sydney, Australia where she grew up.

It has always been her dream to return and reside in America, so she selected Austin, Texas, the 'Live Music Capital of the World', and relocated to commence her quest to touch lives and hearts with her passionate and inspiring music.

Since arriving in States, Jacinta has further refined her artistic pursuits with an insatiable thirst for making new music with cutting edge technology. Currently, she has credits working with the syndicated children's series, "The Saddle Club" producing and arranging music for their popular soundtracks, working with the SXSW Interactive Web Awards, producing the music both in 2003 and 2004, and providing audio assistance to 'Cirque du Soleil -Alegria'. Jacinta’s Australian releases ‘Sandalwood – Under the Influence’ and the accompanying single, ‘Fly’ have found new audiences in the Americas via shows, radio and the internet.

'Master of One', Jacinta's soon-to-be third solo release, and her first ever in the United States, is currently being produced in the studio and will be released later this year.
