Hat Backwardz Records (HBR) which was launched in 1998 is one of the premiere independent music labels in the world, and hope to eventually be the home of artists from virtually every musical genre. In 1998 Hat Backwardz Records entered into a non-exclusive agreement with the Orchard Distribution. We have reached over 9,000 downloads and growing. We are an international company that consistently stretches the boundaries of hip-hop music while honoring and preserving its roots. H.B.R is the home of such current acts as Los & Kocst, Bop & Ragg, Kujo, Marc Hunter Franchise, 2 Bit, Jayare and the Hat Backwardz Phenomenal. We also have catalog recordings of numerous volumes of the Hat Backwardz Compilation. H. B.R produces unconventional recordings of new classic hip-hop music, while maintaining the rich traditions of an unparalleled, century-old catalogue of hardcore hip-hop/rap recordings as well as film soundtracks.
