Bio

At 26 years old, George Vala has become one of Boston’s premiere electronic artists. Producing countless tracks for DJ’s and clubs around the world from New York City to Lebanon, George’s style combines strong rhythmic passages with warm cinematic melodies maintaining a pop-infused structure that can only be described as “wondrously colorful”.

George has extensive credits scoring and designing sound for video games, film, and television. He is Audio Director and Senior Sound Designer for Blue Fang Games in Boston, MA and founder of Polyfly Audio Productions. His work on Blue Fang’s Zoo Tycoon franchise and ATI’s developer demos continue to earn him praise throughout the video game industry.

This year George has been writing and producing for the Japanese super-group Tatami. He recently completed three Miles Davis house remixes for EMI Japan's "Mild Miles" compilation album and in late 2006 George produced Suntory Whiskey's "Suntory Time", which featured world reknown shakuhachi player Douzan Yamamato. The track was commissioned for play in the lobby of the Tokyo Midtown Project, Tokyo's largest residential and commercial complex. It was later put to film and selected for best short production at the Shanghai Film Fetival.

This summer George is slated to finish his first solo album of original material and follow up with a live p.a. tour. The album will feature collaborations with singer Krysta Youngs and J-Pop producer Eager Lush of Tatami. Check out some of the tracks exclusively on Broadjam!!!
